Raw heart Necklace

I was never drawn to the shape of a heart. I always found it a bit kitschy, perhaps too delicate or overly perfect.

But then came the transition into motherhood, that total devotion to another human being, driven by a love and care that knows no boundaries, no beginning, and no end.

Along with it came life itself—the personal heartbreak of letting go of who I used to be, the slow mending, the sacrifice, and the transition into a new version of myself. It was a profound, quiet process that so many women go through, and witnessing it shifted something inside me.

Without even realizing it, my hands simply moved on their own toward this classic, well-worn shape.

But this time, the heart born in the studio didn't come from a place of flawless perfection; it was born out of the void.

This is a heart shaped by negative space, deep scratches, and a raw texture in the material. Elements that tell the true story of love, resilience, and innocence.

I wrapped this loving, beating heart in a dynamic ring adorned with two small leaves-a symbol of growth, renewal, and continuous motion.

Metaphorically and physically, our heart is the most magnificent muscle that exists. This is my version of it for you. The real heart—exposed, raw, and powerful. Minus the kitsch :)
