The hamsa has been one of my favorite symbols for a long time - through every version I came across on my last trip to Morocco, and through the eyes of one of my dearest friends, who first showed me how to really see it. A shape carrying so much history. So much ethnicity. So much quiet beauty.

I'd been wanting to make a fresh, mystical version for a while, and finally I had the excuse to pick up my tools and bring it to life.
